2021.10.24-én a Reformációi Istentiszteletet tartott a Magyarországi Egyházak Ökumenikus Tanácsa az Október a Reformáció Hónapja című programsorozaton belül.
A Magyarországi Metodista Egyház központjában megtartott istentiszteleten Pataky Albert, a Magyar Pünkösdi Egyház elnöke hirdette Isten igéjét.
Igehirdetésében az ünnepi istentiszteleten a MEÖT éves igéjét, és egyben a rendezvénysorozat igéjét olvasta fel, a Zsidókhoz írt levél 3. részének 1. versét.
„Ezért szent testvéreim, mennyei elhívás részesei, figyeljetek hitvallásunk apostolára és főpapjára, Jézusra”.
Igehirdetésében hangsúlyozta, hogy ne másra figyeljünk, hanem Jézus Krisztusra.
„Mert igazán ebből fakad az élet, ebből fakad a helyes önértékelés. Ahogy figyelünk Jézusra úgy gondolkodunk magunkról is, környezetünkről is, Istenről is, az életünkről is. Ahogy figyelünk Jézus Krisztusra, úgy kerül az életünk helyre, az igazi helyére.”
